WELCOME

Founded in 1885, St. Luke's is the oldest parish in the Episcopal diocese of Southwest Florida.

Our vision is to be an abiding witness in our community to the love and saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to worship God in the Anglican tradition of the one holy catholic and apostolic church, availing ourselves of the means of grace and awaiting our hope in glory.

NOTICE:

HERE WE GROW!

DID YOU SEE THE SIGN? In an effort to expand our ministry, with the help of Mayhugh Commercial Realty, we are making classroom and office space available for lease. (NOT FOR SALE!)  There are two signs, one on the corner of Cleveland Ave. and Jeffcott St. the other is at the parking lot entrance on Grand Ave.  The signs read: classroom/office space available. We trust that this will help us reach out to our community and provide additional resources for our church.  This would be an ideal facility for a private school, day care or  adult education.  Please pray that we’ll have success as we consider leasing opportunities.

Listen to Our Latest Sermon: Proper 8; June 28, 2026

Every Sunday we ask God in the prayer of consecration to “grant that, by the merits and death of thy Son Jesus Christ, and through faith in his blood, we, and all thy whole Church, may obtain remission of our sins, and all other benefits of his passion.” What then are the other benefits of Christ's passion? St. Paul in today's epistle reading gives us one answer to this question: Faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ makes not only the forgiveness of sin possible but also breaks the power of sin over our lives. Fr. Jeff explains the symbolism of the blood of Christ, the biblical picture of sin, and the power of sin that masters the wicked but has been mastered by Christ.
